After a quick visit to the paddock, mainly to see how bad the McLaren M1 was damaged after going off on oil and hitting the pitwall, it was back over to Luffield for the racing. Poor light and a stiff breeze meant less photography and more watching....never a bad thing.

After an early morning visit to the infield in search of breakfast and pretty tin it was over to Luffield for an excellent days racing. The WSM race was run to dusk and images were shot from Priory.

The final day of the Silverstone Classic meeting. Races include HSCC Road sports cars, BRDC Sports racing cars, Porsche road sports, Top Hat 1960-66 Touring cars, HGPCA Grand Prix cars 1925-65, Formula 1 cars 1966-85 and Aston Martin sports cars.

Day 2 of the Classic meeting featuring races for FIA Historic Formula 1, Formula Junior, HGPCA Grand Prix cars, Group C cars, Porsche road sports, Sports racing cars 1948-55, Formula 1 cars 1966-85, GT and Sports Endurance cars, Road Sports cars 1947-69, Grand Prix cars 1966-78, Pre-war Sports cars and World Masters Sports cars 1963-73. Also action from th Slowly Sideways rally stage.

McLaren, Renault, Toyota, Williams, Super Aguri and Spyker turned up.

Spent the long weekend at Silverstone for the annual GP meeting. It was very hot all three days with the sun blazing down non stop.
I spent the Friday shooting the cars with the long stuff before returning for the weekend with a walk about, it was far too hot to be lugging about heavy camera gear in amongst those crowds.

GP2 and F1 practice 1 were shot at Luffield, F1 practice 2 from Farm and we returned to Luffield for the Historic qually.

The major tyre test before this seasons British GP.
McLaren, Renault, Honda, BMW, Williams, Red Bull and Toro Rosso were there along with 15 drivers.

A freezing cold, windy yet sunny start to the day.
Midland F1 were the only team on track up until I left, frozen, around 4PM....seems the Super Aguri team did shake down their two cars some time later.....thanks :(
Silverstone looked even bleaker with both Luffield A & B grandstands raised to the ground.
