A foggy start to the day before the sun burnt through. Besides the Bugatti Owners club members cars there were also runs from the Porsche Club Speed Championship, the Reliant Scimitar and Sabre Speed Championship and the Luffield Cars MG Car Club Speed Championship. There was also various motorbike and sidecar entries.

The regular Gurston championship plus guest series the Ferrari Hillclimb, TR Register and NHCA on their motorbikes.

Shots were taken at crossings 7 and 9 on the hill plus entering the top paddock. The rally shots are from the purpose built stage in Goodwood's grounds.

Action from the first two practice runs on Saturday. The weather was dry, sunny and very windy.

During the lunch break marshals were given rides up the hill in various classic and modern cars.

Opening meeting of the 2008 season. Strong winds blowing rain across the course made life tricky for everyone.

Run on the Castle Combe circuit this event was organised by the Bristol Pegasus Motor Club.

The VSCC sprint held on the historic Goodwood circuit. Poor light for most of the day didn't help with the cars but the bonus was the heavy air traffic in and out of the circuit airfield.

The hill shots taken from in front of the Park grandstand, opposite the House. The weather ranged from rain to heavy rain to biblical downpours and together with dark skies wasn't very photographer friendly conditions.

Practice day at the FoS. Some cars did 3 or 4 runs while others stayed in the paddock as the track was damp and slippery.

My first visit to Shelsley, quite a hill and the VSCC cars made it a great day.

Goodwood back to it's very best. Sunny and warm, helpful and friendly crowds and the very best motorsport event in the world.

Wandered up the hill to escape the hordes, with some success.
Found a nice spot and managed to take a few shots.
